For Patients

We look forward to seeing you!

What Happens In A Visit?

Naturopathic Medicine is an on-going conversation.

The first one-hour meeting is an information-gathering session. We will review the concerns that brought you in in detail, as well as your health history from birth. We will review any labs, lists of supplements or diets you have tried or other health information you would like to review together.

Once the health history is completed, any relevant exam or tests will be done or discussed. We may discuss collecting samples for hormone testing, food allergy testing or other nutritional assessments.

If you are coming for NAET, initial testing will be done in the first visit.

Finally, we make a plan. This may (and often does) include diet changes, tracking or adjustments. If there is herbal medicine to prepare, that will happen in office, or supplements may be recommended. These are generally refillable via a web-based platform through which you are guaranteed physician-level quality supplements and the convenience of delivery to your door. Custom formulas will need to made in office, but can be mailed. Your plan summary will be emailed to you as well.

In follow-up visits, we discuss progress, setbacks and new concerns that have come up. We will adjust your health and plan as needed.

Naturopathic Doctors attained licensure in 2017 (Hooray!). The law is still being written, and it will not include requirements for insurance companies to cover Naturopathic care.
